As a woman-owned small business, ENC Strategy knows about the unique opportunities and challenges that come with the designation. So we were especially excited to help spread the word about how the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) enables women business owners throughout the country to succeed in a competitive economy.
SBA and its partners offer resources customized to help women entrepreneurs in their business ventures. From SBA-backed loans and special programs for government contracting, to in-person counseling, SBA is committed to helping women-owned businesses reach their potential.
In ENC’s recent digital campaign work for SBA, we promoted these specific resources and information available to women looking to start or grow their businesses. This included details about registering as a women-owned small business, the value of Women’s Business Centers, information about financing, an online training course tailored for women interested in government contracting and more. Our efforts increased site traffic to targeted SBA.gov pages and encouraged conversation about women-owned small businesses on Twitter and Facebook. Some highlights include:
- 58 percent increase overall in traffic to targeted content
- 70 percent increase in retweets
- 20 percent increase in average unique opens for email bulletin
- Viral reach (potential audience) of more than 1.1 million online users
Our SBA digital campaigns continue to deliver results for the SBA and entrepreneurs. Stay tuned to see what we do next!
Previous ENC-led campaigns for SBA.gov included topics such as SBA’s online Learning Center, answering questions to help small business owners reach their 2013 goals, as well as government contracting and more.
