Salient Federal Solutions (now Salient CRGT) was launched in 2009 with a $100 million investment from a private equity firm. From 2009 to 2014, Salient acquired five companies that provided technology solutions to government customers. As companies were acquired, ENC updated messaging and branding to explain the distinct value that the new company provided to Salient and its customers.

ENC supported all communications efforts associated with the firm’s 2009 launch, and continued to support Salient through its M&A activities, by assisting with change management, branding, strategic messaging, and public relations services, to address all stakeholders, both internal (employees of the parent company and each acquired company) and external (investors, media, potential employees).

ENC also supported public promotion of Salient, including preparing and submitting award applications, such as the Forbes Most Promising Company Award, which Salient won in 2011. ENC secured more than 50 national media placements for Salient in publications such as Bloomberg Businessweek, The Street, CNBC, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, as well as in IT-specific publications targeting federal, state, and local governments.
